Private sales get arhat as a % plus labour, and the net goes to the farmer&#8217;s khata.<\/p><\/details>\n<details><summary>How is byaj worked out?<\/summary><p>Simple interest at your % per month on the farmer&#8217;s daily balance, added to the khata at each month end. Charge interest only as allowed by law and your agreement with the farmer.<\/p><\/details>\n<details><summary>Are the MSP and arhat rates up to date?<\/summary><p>Wheat and paddy rates for 2026-27 are filled in. Rates change every season, so check and update them in the crop table.<\/p><\/details>\n<details><summary>Can I send a farmer his balance?<\/summary><p>Yes.
